Associate – Client Acceptance (MECCAT) – Sharjah

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Associate to join the MECCAT Client Acceptance Team in Sharjah. You will support the team in applying KYC/AML policies, conducting due‑diligence reviews and assessing AML risks for new and existing clients and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established KYC/AML processes in line with Deloitte Global and local policies.
• Perform AML risk assessments and identify red‑flag situations.
• Assist with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, including trigger events and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
• Escalate potential risks and operational issues to the quality risk representative or management.
• Communicate compliance analysis and findings to internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with other Deloitte offices to improve processes and foster a compliance culture.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify, analyse and escalate compliance risks.
• Interest in developing expertise in KYC, AML and risk management.
