Associate Director, Communications & PR

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director to lead communications and public relations for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai’s newest luxury lifestyle destination. The role will shape strategic messaging, enhance brand visibility and drive engagement across internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists and influencers to secure coverage.
• Design and execute public relations campaigns, manage reputation risks and handle crisis communications.
• Oversee internal communications, including newsletters, intranet content and corporate announcements.
• Create compelling content for press releases, articles, blogs, social media and website.
• Protect and manage the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing Communications, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of marketing experience with a leading global luxury hospitality company or luxury brand.
• Proven expertise in luxury marketing, brand communications and digital marketing.
