Associate Director – Leasing & Asset Management

About the role

The Associate Director of Leasing leads leasing performance for both residential and commercial portfolios, driving revenue, occupancy, pricing, and business development. This senior position shapes portfolio‑wide leasing strategies aligned with asset objectives and oversees the Leasing and Leasing Administration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive leasing strategies, translating business goals into asset‑level plans and targets.
• Drive revenue growth and portfolio optimisation through pricing, rental uplift, lease structuring and inventory management.
• Lead occupancy initiatives, managing new leases, renewals, expansions and tenant retention to achieve target occupancy levels.
• Build and manage relationships with UAE brokers and channel partners to maximise market coverage and generate broker‑contributed revenue.
• Lead complex negotiations, ensuring pricing and lease terms align with approved benchmarks.
• Oversee end‑to‑end leasing transaction lifecycle, coordinating with Legal, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely execution.
• Provide leadership, performance monitoring and capability development for Leasing and Leasing Administration teams.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Asset Management, Development, Property Management, Finance, Marketing and Legal to align leasing priorities with overall asset plans.

Required profile

• 15+ years of UAE real‑estate experience covering residential and commercial leasing.
• Proven track record of achieving significant leasing revenue targets and portfolio optimisation.
• Strong understanding of UAE property market dynamics, DLD/RERA regulations and an established broker network.
• Leadership experience building high‑performing leasing teams and driving accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field; MBA or professional qualifications (RICS, CCIM) are advantageous.
