Associate Director, Private Banking Front Office

About the role

The Associate Director will manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth (HNW) clients, delivering personalized private banking services and building long‑term relationships. The role focuses on driving revenue, cross‑selling bank products, and ensuring client loyalty while safeguarding the bank’s reputation and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deepen relationships with existing HNW clients to maximize profitable contribution and retain loyalty.
• Identify and acquire new HNW clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal networks.
• Promote and cross‑sell a broad range of bank products, including TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, Corporate Finance, investments, term deposits, CASA balances, FX trading, and share financing.
• Collaborate with other bank professionals to structure solutions that meet client needs and increase bank revenues.
• Monitor and mitigate AML, fraud, and compliance risks, ensuring ethical behavior throughout the sales process.
• Achieve revenue targets, sales goals, and portfolio growth across multiple product lines.

Required profile

• University degree with a certification or diploma in sales/marketing.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar private banking or financial services role.
• Certification from the Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) for selling investments.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship‑management and networking abilities, with cultural sensitivity.
• Extroverted, amiable personality with a proven track record of meeting sales and profitability targets.
