Associate – Disputes (Dubai)

About the role

ALN UAE is looking for a motivated Associate to join its Disputes team in Dubai. You will work on high‑value, cross‑border matters for a diverse client base that spans corporates, financial institutions, investors and private clients across the Middle East, Africa and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cases and client relationships throughout the dispute lifecycle.
• Conduct advanced legal research covering common law, UAE civil law, private and public international law.
• Draft pleadings, submissions, advice letters, applications and witness statements.
• Prepare for hearings and, when required, present oral arguments.
• Provide cross‑border advisory services and support enforcement, asset recovery and regulatory matters.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, thought‑leadership pieces and networking.

Required profile

• Bar admission or equivalent qualification in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 2–5 years of post‑qualification experience in disputes or litigation.
• Strong legal fundamentals, sound judgment and commercial awareness.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to build a cross‑border disputes practice.
