Associate Engineer

About the role

QuantumGate is looking for a motivated Associate Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team developing secure, post‑quantum cryptographic systems. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in software development, system integration, testing, and customer deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tools, utilities, and components for secure communication and post‑quantum cryptography.
• Integrate and test systems, creating automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Perform quality‑assurance activities, including debugging, issue tracking, and regression testing.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Build and maintain prototype setups in both physical and virtual environments.
• Support customer deployments, validate configurations, and provide technical guidance.
• Produce technical documentation such as test reports, user manuals, and deployment guides.
• Assist with root‑cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional eager to learn and work under senior technical supervision.
• Strong analytical thinking and methodical problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and produce clear reports.

Required skills

• Programming and scripting: Python, Java, MATLAB, VBA.
• Version control: GIT, Gerrit, GitLab.
• Collaboration tools: Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Basic familiarity with digital signal processing, secure communication, or cryptographic principles.
