Associate – Government & Public Institutions – Defense & Security

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate to join its Middle East Government and Public Institutions – Defense and Security team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering strategic consulting services to government bodies and defence organisations, helping them improve performance, growth and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic recommendations for defence and public sector clients.
• Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to redesign business models and enhance profitability.
• Support senior consultants and managers in client engagements across the region.
• Prepare presentations and reports that communicate findings and actionable plans.

Required profile

• Solid strategy consulting experience at manager level, preferably with government, defence or related institutions.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work on complex, fast‑paced projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Dubai and travel within the Middle East as needed.
