Associate Planner (1-year contract)

About the role

The Associate Planner will support the division’s merchandise strategy by developing seasonal and yearly product and location sales plans, forecasting and allocation. This 1‑year fixed‑term role is based in Dubai and focuses on maximising sales and gross margin.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver category sales, gross margin and sell‑through performance against plan.
• Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts by analysing seasonal and yearly trends.
• Monitor performance, take corrective actions and identify margin opportunities at department level.
• Manage replenishment orders, stock turnover and markdown activities to optimise inventory and profit.
• Coordinate with buying, logistics and store teams to ensure accurate OTB, shipments and price changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, evaluate delivery performance and contribute to supplier strategies.

Required profile

• University degree in any discipline.
• 3‑5 years experience in planning for large‑scale retail operations.
• Strong analytical skills and in‑depth knowledge of the retail industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively at management level.
