Associate - Project Controls

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Associate – Project Controls to join its Dubai team. You will act as the backbone of project delivery, turning complex data into clear insights that support informed decision‑making and keep programmes on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules and program plans using industry‑standard tools.
• Monitor progress against baselines, identify schedule risks, impacts and dependencies.
• Manage schedule baselines and support change‑management processes.
• Conduct critical‑path analysis, scenario planning and variance analysis.
• Support monthly reporting, performance reviews and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts to ensure financial accountability.
• Participate in risk management, change control and Earned Value Management activities.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years (120 months) of experience in project controls or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, technical teams and clients.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights and recommendations.
