Associate – Structures Engineer

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an Associate – Structures to join its engineering team in Dubai. You will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with architects, contractors and senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis and development of structural solutions from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations and 3D models using industry‑standard CAD software.
• Conduct structural analysis, risk evaluation and buildability reviews to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination and client satisfaction.
• Support Project Engineers and Managers in managing timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Review technical deliverables from team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in client presentations and project meetings, communicating design rationale clearly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on multiple structural projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software.
• Advanced CAD tools for 2D and 3D modeling.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced 3D techniques.
• Knowledge of UAE local building codes and regulations.
• Familiarity with HSEQ compliance requirements.
