Associate Vice President - Digital Assets & Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional with deep knowledge of digital assets, blockchain technologies, and risk management to join the Risk Management function of Rak Bank. The Associate Vice President will lead governance, risk assessments and security oversight for digital‑asset platforms, wallets, custody solutions and smart‑contract environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity reviews of digital‑asset platforms, products and services, including smart‑contract and blockchain‑based applications.
• Assess, monitor and report on cybersecurity risks, findings and remediation activities across digital‑asset environments.
• Review custody solutions, wallet security controls and cryptographic key‑management practices.
• Define security requirements, monitoring use cases and drive closure of findings from audits, penetration tests and regulatory reviews.
• Develop and maintain policies, standards, procedures and governance documentation for digital‑asset security.
• Prepare dashboards, KRIs, management reports and provide guidance to business, technology and third‑party teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• 4‑6 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, security architecture or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with digital‑asset security, custody platforms, wallet security and key‑management controls.
• Proven track record in risk assessments, control reviews, audit remediation and findings management.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking and ability to communicate with senior management.
