Associate Vice President & Solution Architect – Core Banking (Finacle)

About the role

The Associate Vice President & Solution Architect will play a crucial role in driving the bank's strategic initiatives and architectural vision. This senior position leads the design and delivery of innovative solutions for the Core Banking platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional banking practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for the Finacle core banking platform, translating business, product and regulatory requirements into scalable designs.
• Define and govern target architecture for core modules such as CIF, Loans & Liabilities, General Ledger, VAM and Liquidity Solutions.
• Architect and optimise core banking frameworks, including End‑of‑Day processing, batch cycles and cross‑application handoffs.
• Design integration patterns and interfaces with digital channels, payments, CRM, risk, compliance and data‑warehouse systems using APIs, messaging and file‑based interfaces.
• Lead solution design for customisations, extensions and upgrades while balancing standard product capabilities.
• Mentor solution and technical teams, providing architectural guidance across conventional and Islamic banking product lines.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in banking and financial services technology with a strong focus on core banking.
• Deep domain knowledge of core modules (CIF, Loans, Liabilities, GL, VAM, Liquidity Solutions) and core banking frameworks (EOD processing, batch scheduling).
• Hands‑on experience customizing and scripting within the Finacle platform.
• Extensive UAE and regional regulatory knowledge affecting core banking operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
