Associate/Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics

About the role

The College of Dentistry at Ajman University is seeking an Associate or Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics to start in the Fall semester 2025‑26.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in prosthodontics and related disciplines.
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and supervise clinical training.
• Organise instructional resources, course outlines, and maintain community networks.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Foster a respectful, culturally sensitive learning environment and collaborate across the university.

Required profile

• Ph.D. from a reputable university.
• Minimum three years of experience with a master’s degree in the field.
• Outstanding teaching record and research/publication history.
• Experience supervising student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Eligibility to practice as a specialist or consultant under UAE Ministry of Health regulations.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Credit Hour academic system.
• Ability to supervise student work and provide academic advising.
• Experience conducting independent research and publishing findings.
• Knowledge of academic program planning and implementation.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational software.
