Audio Visual Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai. You will be the technical backbone of our hotel’s audio‑visual operations, delivering exceptional support across events, meetings, entertainment venues, and guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional audio‑visual equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, entertainment events, and special functions with precision and efficiency.
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, video systems, and LED displays during live events to ensure smooth execution and optimal visual and audio quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of all AV equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, video‑conferencing systems, and other AV equipment promptly.
• Provide on‑site technical support for VIP guests, executive meetings, high‑profile events, and conference room operations.
• Coordinate with Events, Banquets, Entertainment, IT, and Engineering teams to deliver technical requirements seamlessly and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, repairs, and technical specifications.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of new AV equipment into existing infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in audio‑visual operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or high‑end event environment.
• Technical proficiency with professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems used in corporate and hospitality settings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Proficiency in inventory management and record‑keeping systems.
