Audit Executive – Internal Audit & Compliance

About the role

The Audit Executive will support Danube Properties by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and internal controls. Working closely with finance and operations teams, you will identify risks, provide insights, and help improve business processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data analytics and present exception reports on cost‑saving initiatives identified by the internal audit department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and verify statutory requirements such as VAT and RERA.
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation supporting audit findings.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliation reviews and report discrepancies immediately.
• Validate monthly calculations of sales and broker incentives.
• Execute 100% pre‑audit of vendor payments according to the audit plan and flag any issues.
• Undertake any additional assignments aligned with the audit portfolio.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in internal audit or a related field, preferably within real‑estate development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements and industry‑specific audit standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
