About the role

As the Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our internal controls and processes. You will lead a team of auditors, providing guidance and expertise to maintain the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive audit programs across various business units and functions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks.
• Identify areas of improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance internal processes.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the real estate industry.
• Mentor and develop a team of auditors, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to maintain audit effectiveness.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in real estate auditing, with a focus on the UAE market.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification.
• Proven track record in leading and managing internal audit functions in a real estate organization.
• Strong knowledge of real estate industry practices, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify complex issues and develop practical solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using audit software and tools for planning, executing, and reporting audits.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills with a history of developing and mentoring professionals.
• Flexibility to travel within the UAE as required for audit engagements and site visits.
