Audit Quality & Compliance Executive (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Quality & Compliance Executive to strengthen our audit quality, professional standards and regulatory compliance functions in Dubai. You will work closely with engagement teams, partners and regulators to ensure audit engagements meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engagement quality and compliance reviews of audit files.
• Review audit working papers for compliance with ISAs, IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements and firm methodology.
• Identify audit quality deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with the firm’s audit policies, procedures and quality management system.
• Assist with internal file inspections, periodic quality control reviews and follow‑up on remedial actions.
• Help develop and update audit methodologies, templates, checklists and internal procedures.
• Track changes to auditing, accounting, ethical and regulatory requirements and communicate updates.
• Support implementation and monitoring of the firm’s System of Quality Management (SoQM).
• Provide guidance on audit documentation, independence, ethics and professional standards.
• Prepare quality and compliance reports for management and partners.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and response to inspection findings.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for audit staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–6 years of external audit experience, preferably with a recognised audit firm in the UAE.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or partially qualified.
• Strong knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, professional ethics and audit quality requirements.
• Familiarity with ISQM 1 and ISQM 2 is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional judgement and confidentiality.
