Automotive Account Manager

About the role

The Automotive Account Manager will drive sales of Michelin products across a defined territory, building strong relationships with fleet operators and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for achieving individual and team sales targets while supporting the overall revenue goals of the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Sales: Conduct regular field visits, assess fleet size, vehicle types, credit needs and promote Michelin tyre solutions.
• Operations: Keep customer profiles up‑to‑date, prepare sales documentation and coordinate timely stock orders.
• Tyre Testing: Deploy tyre testing with end‑users, identify testing vendors, negotiate pricing and leverage results to generate future sales.
• Claims Management: Review warranty claims, approve or reject within policy limits, and submit consolidated monthly reports.
• Market Analysis: Gather intelligence on competitor products, pricing and promotions, and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Customer Relationship & Satisfaction: Inform customers of product updates, deliver training and build lasting relationships to uncover new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales or account management.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing customer portfolios.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
