Autonomous Vehicle Operations Controller

About the role

We are looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Controller to monitor the real‑time status of our autonomous fleet and coordinate rapid responses to incidents, accidents and other operational emergencies. The role demands strong situational awareness, clear communication and the ability to act quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Dispatch emergency work orders to ground support teams promptly.
• Coordinate on‑site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents according to established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams throughout incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes following operational guidelines.
• Track incident progress to resolution or further escalation.
• Record accurate details of incidents, actions taken and responses.
• Follow all emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment or similar operation.
• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
• Experience in transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations is advantageous.
