Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator

About the role

We are looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to support safe testing and operation of autonomous vehicles on real-world roads. The role involves working directly inside the vehicle during test runs, ensuring all activities follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles during road testing and operational activities.
• Support hardware and software update testing.
• Conduct routine road-running and validation activities.
• Participate in special experience and demonstration sessions, including VIP vehicle experiences.
• Assist with cloud-cabin and connected vehicle testing.
• Identify and report any operational or safety concerns.
• Coordinate with operational and technical teams to ensure safe completion of testing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in automotive operations, vehicle testing, transportation, fleet operations or a similar environment.
• Strong awareness of road safety and safe driving practices.
• Comfortable working with new technology and autonomous vehicle systems.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to follow detailed operational and safety procedures.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to remain focused during vehicle operations.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
