AV Technician – Hotel Audio‑Visual Support

About the role

The AV Technician will ensure that all audio‑visual and IT equipment used for meetings, conferences and guest services at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel operates flawlessly. You will work closely with guests and internal teams to deliver a seamless technology experience in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test and maintain AV equipment such as laser projectors, audio speakers, TVs, DVD and CD‑ROM players.
• Provide on‑site technical support for PCs, operating systems and application software during events.
• Maintain inventory records and generate equipment reports.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the engineering department to ensure all systems meet guest expectations.

Required profile

• Documented training from a technical or vocational institute.
• At least one year of experience operating AV/IT equipment in a hotel engineering department.
• Good knowledge of both IT and audio‑visual technologies.
