AVEVA OSI PI Solution Consultant – Technical Solution Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AVEVA OSI PI Solution Consultant to join our industrial software team serving the oil and gas sector. The consultant will lead the implementation, upgrade, and support of AVEVA PI systems for clients across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and upgrade AVEVA PI sites, ensuring seamless integration with client infrastructure.
• Provide on‑site client support for problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, and training.
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Travel regularly to client locations throughout the UAE and act as the primary technical interface.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with AVEVA PI systems and site implementations.
• Proven experience with Windows Server setup, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• AVEVA PI system (core, Asset Framework, visualization, data integration, scripting & development).
• Microsoft SQL Server (2014 +).
• Windows Server (2012 +).
• Networking and IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
