Aviation Underwriting Support – Dubai

About the role

elseco is a high‑technology specialty insurance underwriting agency headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The Aviation Underwriting Support role assists underwriters and client advocates with a wide range of administrative and procedural tasks to ensure accurate and timely policy processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting aspects of underwriting, including premium reconciliation, tracking and aging.
• Assist underwriters in preparing and filing contract documentation on schedule.
• Verify pool members’ subjectivities and perform database checks to support underwriting decisions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate data in elseco’s underwriting systems, both existing and new.
• Book policies in the Policy Operating System and conduct relevant compliance checks.
• Ensure slips are signed, distributed to brokers or producers, and properly archived along with related communications.
• Scan and forward documents to brokers, producers or cedents as required.
• Support client advocates and underwriters in aggregating country and regional data, entering it into aggregation control systems and coordinating with external partners.
• Liaise with broker accounting teams on final premium calculations after receiving signed line confirmations.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective coordination and communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience or interest in insurance, underwriting or related administrative functions.
