About the role

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) will work from Citco’s new Abu Dhabi office, leading a team of fund accountants and delivering a robust training programme for new staff. The role bridges client integration, operations, and on‑shore/off‑shore functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing service for a large, complex strategic client.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive training programme for new employees.
• Collaborate with the Client Integration and Operations teams to onboard a strategic client.
• Coordinate with on‑shore and off‑shore functional teams to optimise client delivery.
• Manage a team of fund accountants, providing coaching, feedback and performance management.
• Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, financial statements and reconciliation packages.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients on reporting matters and respond to queries.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal processes, controls and productivity.
• Review daily and monthly operational/control reporting and support ad‑hoc projects.
• Analyse administrative and accounting procedures and recommend efficiency solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a team of fund accountants.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑liaison skills.
• Ability to deliver training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reconciliation packages.
• Capability to drive process improvements and handle ad‑hoc projects.
