AVP & Audit Manager – Personal Banking (Emiratized)

About the role

The AVP & Audit Manager will lead and participate in audits across Consumer, Private & Business Banking segments within the FAB Group. The role provides assurance to senior management by identifying control weaknesses, reporting findings, and driving corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead audits of FAB’s Consumer, Private & Business Banking functions in the UAE and international subsidiaries.
• Identify and report significant audit findings, escalating them promptly to senior leadership.
• Collaborate daily with business managers to influence change and provide advisory support.
• Assist the SVP/VP and Head of Audit with special investigations and ad‑hoc reviews.
• Monitor audit progress against the annual plan and communicate any potential delays.
• Guide and train junior audit staff, fostering knowledge sharing and team development.
• Track financial performance of audit areas against budgets and report variances.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emiratized) with extensive experience in banking audit functions.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, risk management and regulatory environments in the UAE and relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage audit projects and lead teams.
