About the role
The Assistant Vice President – Regulatory Affairs in the UAE will lead the bank’s interaction with regulators, ensuring timely and accurate responses to examinations, reviews, and on‑site inspections. The role focuses on governance, automation and simplification of regulatory processes to protect the bank’s reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end management of regulatory examinations and thematic reviews, coordinating documentation and providing status updates.
- Coordinate and manage on‑site inspections, acting as the primary point of contact for regulators and tracking follow‑up actions.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) from regulators, maintaining logs and a single point of contact process.
- Receive, track and disseminate regulatory circulars and notices, maintaining a central repository for easy access.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain comprehensive records, logs and trackers, and support reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs.
