AVP & Lead, Credit Management – Industrial & Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President who will lead credit management for the Industrial & Manufacturing and Transport & Logistics sectors across the UAE and selected international markets. The role involves preparing, assessing, structuring and monitoring credit exposures, working closely with senior credit, relationship, product, risk and legal teams to ensure compliance with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit analysis and risk assessment for sector‑related transactions, including working capital, corporate debt and structured asset financing.
• Prepare credit applications, financial analyses and approval recommendations.
• Structure facilities such as term loans, revolving facilities and guarantees within approved risk parameters.
• Manage sector‑specific portfolio, conduct credit reviews, monitor covenants and track financial performance.
• Collaborate with coverage and product teams on credit assessments and client meetings.
• Respond to audit, regulatory and internal review queries related to assigned transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (mandatory).
• Professional qualification preferred (CA, CFA, CPA, CAIA).
• Minimum 6 years banking experience, with at least 3 years in credit analysis or risk roles, preferably in Transport & Logistics or Industrial & Manufacturing.
• Ability to work within established credit frameworks while exercising independent judgment.
