Baker – Full‑time Production Role

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Baker to join our team at The Cookie Dealer’s flagship location in Dubai Creek Harbour. This hands‑on production role involves preparing our full range of cookies and desserts fresh each day, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and the counter is fully stocked for opening.

Key responsibilities

• Produce the complete cookie and dessert range daily according to recipe, weight and finish specifications.
• Scale, mix and portion doughs and batters accurately, following strict measurement methods.
• Bake, cool and stock products on schedule to keep the counter supplied.
• Monitor oven performance, adjust bake times and maintain consistency across batches.
• Prepare fillings, toppings and component items as required.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch labeling, date coding and stock rotation.
• Manage ingredient inventory, verify deliveries and flag shortages early.
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and HACCP requirements, including temperature logs and allergen controls.
• Keep the kitchen and equipment spotless, completing opening and closing routines.
• Minimise waste and report any quality issues.
• Participate in trialling new products, seasonal specials and recipe tweaks.

Required profile

• Currently based in the UAE.
• Minimum 2 years experience in bakery or pastry production, preferably in a café, bakery or dessert concept.
• Comfortable working from written recipes and specifications.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen handling and HACCP documentation.
• Physically able to stand for full shifts and handle repetitive mixing tasks.
• Valid Dubai Municipality food handler certification.
