Bakery Commis I – Luxury Hotel (Dubai)

About the role

The Bakery Commis I will support the bakery operation at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel delivering Turkish hospitality. You will prepare inventory lists, assist chefs, and ensure all bakery items meet the hotel’s quality and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily inventory and market lists for the bakery station.
• Assist the Executive Sous Chef with recipe costing and special food promotions.
• Ensure standard recipes, plating guides, and HACCP procedures are followed at all times.
• Control food wastage while maintaining product quality.
• Communicate daily with outlet supervisors and update log books for seamless shift handovers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 2–3 years experience in a 4‑5 star hotel bakery or similar environment.
• Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification.

Required skills

• HACCP certification and knowledge of food safety protocols.
• Food cost calculation and recipe costing.
• Inventory management for bakery supplies.
