Bancatakaful Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Bancatakaful Portfolio Manager will own the end‑to‑end management of ADIB’s Bancatakaful product suite. You will drive performance monitoring, governance, and risk control while delivering clear insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Bancatakaful portfolio, tracking penetration, persistency, claims ratio and revenue per branch.
• Build and maintain a performance dashboard with leading and lagging indicators, flagging emerging risks.
• Provide budget and forecast inputs, including variance analysis for management reviews.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements of Takaful providers, escalating breaches and leading corrective actions.
• Conduct product and process gap assessments and support implementation of improvements.
• Prepare business review decks and senior‑level management reports.
• Handle internal, external and regulatory audits, coordinating evidence collection and closure of findings.
• Maintain department filing, training plans and skill‑gap tracking.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and IT to resolve cross‑functional requirements.
• Support new product launches and product reviews, ensuring documentation, testing and stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of Takaful products.
• Strong teamwork and project‑management capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
• Good problem‑solving skills, especially for product and process gap analysis.
