About the role
The Banquet Commis 1 supports the banquet team at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, preparing and presenting high‑quality meals and ensuring service standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, cold foods and garnish according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Pull and thaw frozen items, maintain food logs, and inform the chef of excess items for specials.
- Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and assist during busy periods.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of related food preparation experience.
- Technical or vocational education preferred.
- No supervisory experience required.
