Bar Host/Hostess – Dubai Science Park

About the role

Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is seeking a service‑oriented Bar Host/Hostess to join our team. You will welcome guests, manage seating, and handle bookings to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner and ascertain their dining needs.
• Seat guests, manage the seating chart and monitor restaurant flow.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.
• Take restaurant bookings via telephone, fax and email, and keep records up to date.
• Liaise with restaurant management on special offers and ensure they are advertised.
• Utilise hotel systems to maximise bookings and maintain a database of regular patrons.
• Manage daily administrative tasks and reports.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proficiency with hotel reservation and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
