Barista – Full-time at Dubai The Palm

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and service‑oriented Barista to join the Food & Beverage team at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. In this full‑time position you will prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and other beverages while delivering warm, friendly, and professional service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and accurate order taking, offering recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, beverage menus and available products.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders and related equipment correctly.
• Keep the coffee station and service areas clean, organized and well‑stocked.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with requisitions and inventory control, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
• Process orders and guest bills accurately using the POS system.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
• Support upselling of beverages, pastries and other menu items.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel, café or restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso‑based beverages and coffee equipment.
• Basic latte art skills are an advantage.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
• Friendly, professional attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
