Barista – Luxury Hotel & Residences

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join the coffee bar at SLS Dubai, a 5‑star luxury hotel within the Accor group. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering high‑quality coffee drinks and pastries while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, inform them about specials, take orders and process payments.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino) following standard recipes.
• Educate customers on coffee beans, brewing equipment and accessories, and demonstrate equipment operation.
• Maintain inventory of coffee beans, brewing tools, pastries and other supplies.
• Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of coffee machines.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation and health standards throughout the coffee bar.
• Contribute to revenue growth by attracting new customers and promoting additional products.

Required profile

• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
• Well‑presented and professionally groomed.
• Accurate cash handling abilities.
• Strong communication and problem‑resolution skills.
• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage products.
• Team player with attention to detail.
