Barista & Service Associate

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic Barista & Service Associate to join My PT Hub’s café at our VSD branch. You will combine coffee‑making expertise with guest‑service duties, ensuring gym members enjoy high‑quality specialty drinks and healthy food in a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, smoothies, mocktails, fresh juices, healthy meals and desserts following recipes and presentation standards.
• Welcome and assist gym members and guests, taking orders accurately and operating the POS system for cash and card payments.
• Promote menu items, recommend beverages and maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct daily inventory checks and replenish supplies as needed.
• Clean, operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders and other café equipment.
• Support opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth café operations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in specialty coffee, café or customer‑service roles.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, well‑groomed appearance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
