BD Manager Institutional Payments

About the role

Taptap Send is launching an institutional payments business that moves money across more than 80 emerging‑market corridors. As the Business Development Manager, you will be the first commercial hire responsible for building a pipeline of crypto exchanges, fintechs, money‑transfer operators and corporate treasury teams, guiding them from initial contact to live integration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech and payments sectors.
• Manage the full business‑development cycle: outreach, qualification, negotiation, and hand‑off to onboarding teams.
• Collaborate with trading, operations and product teams to structure deals and align client needs with corridor priorities.
• Represent Taptap Send at industry events to raise the company’s profile.
• Maintain a clean pipeline and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships or sales within payments, crypto or FX.
• Established network with crypto exchanges, MTOs or emerging‑market fintechs.
• Comfortable selling technical solutions to treasury, CFOs and heads of payments.
• Highly organized, self‑directed and able to work independently without extensive support.
