About the role

AE is seeking an experienced Bell 412 Simulator Instructor to join its world‑class training team. The role involves delivering high‑quality flight‑simulator instruction to pilots while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company training objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ground school and simulator training for Bell 412 pilots in line with FAA, EASA, GCAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Deliver instruction on normal, abnormal and emergency procedures, aircraft systems and operational performance.
• Evaluate trainee performance, provide constructive feedback and complete required documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Bell 412 aircraft systems, operational procedures and industry best practices.
• Assist in developing and continuously improving training programmes and courseware.
• Ensure compliance with CAE’s Safety Management System (SMS) and uphold the highest safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid Bell 412 Type Rating (preferred) and a minimum of 1,000 total flight hours, with significant Bell 412 experience.
• Previous experience as a flight instructor or simulator instructor (rotary‑wing experience required).
• EASA qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic training environment and adapt to client needs.
