Bellman / Bell Attendant – Guest Services

About the role

The Bellman (Bell Attendant) ensures a warm first and last impression for guests by handling luggage, escorting guests to rooms, and providing information about the hotel and Abu Dhabi. The role supports Front Office operations and contributes to the overall guest experience in line with Salayel Hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage handling and escort them to their rooms.
• Explain room features, hotel facilities and services, and answer guest inquiries.
• Assist guests during check‑out with luggage and arrange transportation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance and luggage storage areas.
• Handle guest requests promptly, coordinating with Front Office and Concierge teams.
• Support valet parking operations when needed.
• Ensure proper tagging, handling and storage of guest luggage.
• Follow safety, security and hotel SOPs at all times.
• Report guest feedback, complaints or unusual situations to the Front Office Supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hotel, serviced apartment or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi city, landmarks and directions is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
