Bespoke Tailor – Luxury Womenswear & Menswear

About the role

House of Narma’s in‑house atelier in Dubai is looking for a highly skilled Bespoke Tailor to create luxury womenswear and menswear, covering both couture and ready‑to‑wear collections. The role demands precision craftsmanship, adaptability across a range of fabrics, and a strong commitment to the art of garment making.

Key responsibilities

• Construct and finish garments to atelier standards for structured and fluid silhouettes.
• Execute couture and bespoke tailoring, including internal structuring, shaping, and hand‑finishing.
• Handle surface techniques and embroidery, ensuring stability and seamless integration.
• Work with diverse fabrics such as silk, wool, crepe, lace, organza, and embellished textiles.
• Support fittings, alterations, and finishing in collaboration with pattern makers and designers.
• Assist with daily atelier operations, including sample preparation, pressing, quality checks, and studio organization.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in a luxury or designer atelier.
• Proven ability to work on both menswear and womenswear items, including jackets, dresses, trousers, and outerwear.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Reliable, collaborative, proactive, and able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
