Beverage Specialist for Mediterranean Restaurant in Dubai

About the role

We are launching Josephine, a new Mediterranean dining concept at Rixos Premium Dubai, and we need a passionate Beverage Specialist to shape the guest beverage experience. You will be the go‑to expert for wines, spirits, cocktails, coffees and premium non‑alcoholic drinks, creating memorable moments for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beverage service throughout all service periods.
• Provide expert recommendations aligned with guest preferences and menu selections.
• Maintain and develop extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, coffees and premium beverages.
• Support the creation and evolution of the restaurant’s beverage programme.
• Ensure drinks are prepared, presented and served to recipe and quality standards.
• Collaborate with bar, restaurant and culinary teams for seamless food‑and‑drink pairings.
• Lead tastings, training sessions and product knowledge initiatives for staff.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory and minimize wastage.
• Ensure compliance with UAE beverage service regulations.

Required profile

• Strong passion for hospitality and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and guest‑relationship skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, upscale restaurant environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth wine and spirits knowledge.
• Proficiency in cocktail preparation.
• Experience with coffee brewing techniques.
• Inventory management and stock control.
