Beverage Specialist – Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

We are launching Josephine, an elevated Mediterranean dining destination at Rixos Premium Dubai, and seek a passionate Beverage Specialist to shape the beverage experience. You will deliver personalised recommendations, ensure quality service, and support the development of our beverage programme.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised beverage service throughout all service periods.
• Provide expert recommendations based on guest preferences, menu selections and the Josephine concept.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, non‑alcoholic drinks, coffees and premium beverage products.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the beverage programme.
• Prepare, present and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with restaurant, bar and culinary teams to create seamless food‑beverage pairings.
• Assist with beverage tastings, training sessions and product knowledge development for the team.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels, support inventory control and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with UAE beverage service regulations.

Required profile

• Passionate about hospitality and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build guest relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, non‑alcoholic beverages and coffee.
• Experience in beverage service within a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Familiarity with UAE beverage regulations.
