Bilingual Resident Medical Officer – Inpatient Psychiatry

About the role

Fakeeh Health is seeking a bilingual Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join its Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Dubai. Working under the supervision of a Consultant or Specialist Psychiatrist, the RMO will deliver patient‑centered psychiatric care in a busy hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional evaluations.
• Provide diagnosis, crisis intervention, treatment planning and multidisciplinary care for in‑patients.
• Document assessments, daily progress notes and care plans in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure timely implementation of patients’ care plans and follow‑up according to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical team to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD/DNB or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry.
• DHA eligibility/license as a General Practitioner or Specialist Psychiatrist.
• Minimum five years of post‑specialization experience in a high‑volume hospital setting.
• Fluency in English and Arabic to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
