BIM Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

GHD is looking for a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead Information Management (IM) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) functions on its UAE projects. The role will drive the set‑up of digital workflows, manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, set up and operate project digital workflows and systems for design authoring and information management using the CDE and BIM applications.
• Identify required resources (human, time, software, hardware) for the BIM function.
• Configure projects in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and establish model federation strategies and Master Information Delivery Plans.
• Prepare and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) covering platforms, tools, standards, exchange protocols and modelling methodology.
• Train project teams on BEP requirements and ACC workflows, providing daily support and troubleshooting.
• Manage ACC project settings, permissions, coordination spaces, issues, reviews and workflows.
• Ensure deliverables comply with the BEP, federate models from discipline teams, conduct clash detection and resolve design issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in BIM management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain digital BIM workflows, CDE platforms and coordination processes on large‑scale construction projects.
