BIM Modeler – Dry Utilities

About the role

Parsons is looking for a BIM Modeler specialized in dry utilities to support the BIM Coordinator and project delivery teams in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for creating, managing and delivering BIM models that meet project standards and support infrastructure design and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day BIM implementation and model management activities.
• Develop and maintain 3D/2D models in line with project LOD requirements, standards and naming conventions.
• Prepare drawings (layouts, profiles, sections, details) and extract 2D geometry for coordination and internal reviews.
• Extract model data for clash analysis, schedule review and quantity take‑off.
• Perform clash detection, visual walkthroughs and prepare constructability analysis reports.
• Coordinate model interfaces with other disciplines and ensure quality checking of BIM deliverables.
• Support BIM submissions and model delivery according to TIDP/MIDP and CDE protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modelling experience on infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Autodesk Forma.
• Solid understanding of model‑based workflows, digital delivery and BIM QA/QC.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong technical documentation skills.
