About the role
We are seeking a Boiler Naval Architect to lead the design and integration of marine boiler systems for shipbuilding and offshore projects. The role is based in Dubai and serves projects across the UK, Singapore and the Middle East. The successful candidate will deliver technically robust and cost‑effective boiler solutions, supporting the full project lifecycle from concept through to installation and commissioning, while collaborating closely with project management to meet schedules and budgets.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop boiler systems tailored for marine and offshore applications.
- Ensure all designs comply with IMO, SOLAS, ABS, DNV and other relevant marine regulations.
- Perform stability and structural assessments for shipboard boiler installations.
- Collaborate with marine engineers, shipbuilders and multidisciplinary teams to integrate boiler systems into vessel designs.
- Conduct safety, performance and efficiency evaluations of marine boiler installations.
Required profile
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2 to 25 years of experience in marine boiler design or naval architecture.
- Ability to work on projects located in the UK, Singapore or the United Arab Emirates.
