Branch Accountant – Automotive Finance (Part‑time, UAE National)

About the role

The Branch Accountant will support day‑to‑day finance operations at a high‑volume automotive dealership, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance and timely processing of transactions. This part‑time position is open to UAE nationals and works closely with both finance and branch teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post daily branch transactions such as invoices, receipts, customer collections and vendor payments.
• Validate vehicle deal documentation, pricing and discount requests, ensuring proper approvals.
• Monitor cash collections, bank deposits and petty‑cash balances, performing regular reconciliations.
• Prepare and follow up on reconciliations for customer accounts, vendor balances and petty cash.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including accruals, provisions and journal entries.
• Track operating expenses, purchase orders and supplier invoices to detect overspending or miscoding.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, delegation of authority, internal controls and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting, branch finance or high‑volume transactional finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for managing trackers and reports.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
