Building Materials DIY Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Materials DIY Sales Executive to join our shop‑based team in Dubai. The role focuses on assisting walk‑in customers, recommending the right building‑material and DIY products, and driving sales in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk‑in customers, understanding their project needs.
• Recommend appropriate building‑materials, hardware, tools and related products.
• Prepare quotations, sales orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Source products from local suppliers when required and maintain up‑to‑date price information.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Monitor market prices, product availability and achieve monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong practical knowledge of building‑materials, hardware and DIY products.
• Familiarity with product types, sizes, specifications and applications.
• Ability to quickly assess customer requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in counter sales and customer dealing; UAE market experience preferred.
