Bus Driver

About the role

The Bus Driver will safely transport children and staff between British Orchard Nursery branches and designated pickup and drop‑off points in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site position requires conducting vehicle inspections, following set routes and schedules, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Drive children and staff safely to and from nursery locations, adhering to established routes and timetables.
• Assist children during boarding and alighting, maintaining order and a calm atmosphere.
• Keep accurate transport records and report any maintenance issues.
• Ensure the bus is clean and that emergency procedures are understood and followed.
• Collaborate with nursery staff and families to support a child‑centered environment.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence for buses with a strong record of safe, incident‑free driving.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and road safety practices.
• Experience working with children or in a school/nursery transport setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to assist children safely and respond to emergencies.
