Business Development Executive

About the role

Energy IQ is expanding its commercial team and seeks a proactive Business Development Executive to own outbound prospecting across key sectors in the UAE. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with the founder to generate qualified appointments with facilities directors, sustainability leads, and operations decision‑makers at mid‑to‑large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email sequencing targeting hospitality, healthcare, education, and manufacturing.
• Maintain a live pipeline of qualified prospects in HubSpot with accurate stage tracking and disciplined next‑action planning.
• Book at least 25 qualified meetings per month and ensure attendance through persistent follow‑up.
• Research target accounts to understand energy spend profiles, sustainability commitments, and decision‑maker structures.
• Provide weekly pipeline updates covering outreach volume, response rates, meetings booked, and stage movements.

Required profile

• Strong motivation for outbound sales and a proven ability to generate meetings in a hunting environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Required skills

• HubSpot CRM proficiency.
