Business Development Manager – B2B Sales Executive

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead B2B sales activities for Fortender’s cloud‑based tender and procurement platform in the United Arab Emirates. Based in Dubai, you will work on‑site to generate new business, nurture client relationships and drive revenue growth within the engineering and construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective clients across the engineering, construction and procurement markets.
• Prospect leads, conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions to decision‑makers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of industry trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including product, marketing and support—to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of the engineering, construction or procurement sectors is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and capable of working independently.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
